Solitude Designs Yukon Kicksleds
are patterned after the traditional Scandinavian style kicksled or Spark from
northern Europe. They are a great way to get out and enjoy the winter on snow
or on ice. Our kicksleds are built to be used with or without dogs. Each
kicksled is made using Alaskan Yellow Birch and is protected with four layers
of UV-resistant Spar Varnish for long lasting durability.
Winter Family Fun
The Yukon Kicksled can be used in
a variety of ways. They are excellent for traveling on hard packed trails or on
un-sanded roadways. People with mobility issues find the kicksled to be an
excellent way to get around on icy surfaces. Pull off the plastic runners to
travel on solid ice to your favorite ice fishing hole. Hook up a dog to the
kicksled and experience a fast and stable alternative to ski-joring. The
contoured passenger seat is an ideal way to share the kicksledding experience
with your child or to carry a pack for an extended outing.
